I was sure it was real. I was in my basement and experienced a major earthquake. It was so strong I could hear what seemed to be the foundation of the house cracking. The sharp, dry cracking noises occurred three or four times during the course of the quake. The earthquake was in two waves both lasting about two minutes with a very short lull in between the two waves.
This dream was not within the window of my normal predictive period around the day of my birth each month. It felt so real I thought I should report it. Sometimes I have dreams like this and a few months later on the exact day of the month I had the dream the matching, real life experience occurs.
Update 9/29/2013 - Coincidence? This strong earthquake did happen on my birthday and there were reports the quake shook for over a minute.
