11-17-2015 The Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

I had a dream about a week ago. I am not sure what it means. It may be a glimpse of a new gadget someone invents in the future or a glimpse of an already existing gadget in an alternative world.

The image in my dream was of a mid-thirty year old man pushing in a hand held electronic device with a stainless steel probe into a full sized, cooked turkey resting on a small, bare, wooden table. The device reminded me of a meat thermometer you use to check to make sure the meat reaches the correct cooking temperature.

I am guessing the device in my dream was being used to keep the turkey warm until it was ready to carve and eat. It made the turkey vibrate when the device was turned on like it was sending pulses of microwave energy throughout the turkey to keep it warm.

The man seem a bit distracted and was looking away to his left as he shoved the "meat warmer probe" into the turkey.

The turkey vibrated in short bursts and slipped off the small wooden table due to the slippery grease from the turkey and the vibrations occurring. The distracted man didn't even notice the turkey had fallen on the floor. The turkey started moving towards an elderly couple, sleeping, with their heads nodding towards each other on a couch in another room.

The turkey vibrated its way across a bare wooden floor all the way to the sleeping couples feet and gave a final burst of vibrations to wake up the sleeping, elderly couple. They looked a bit surprised when they saw the turkey resting on the floor by their feet!

I woke up laughing!

To me, it was a rare moment of humor from my subconscious mind.

I have no idea what this dream  means.

There appears to be some sort of symbolism with the phrases "bare wooden table" and "bare wooden floor". I will research "bare wooden" and "dreams" on the internet to see what hits I get.

Conclusion:

Not sure how the following excerpt from a dream interpretation site fits into the above dream but at first glance it may just mean I am comfortable explaining my interpretation of my sometimes weird, predictive dreams to the public in this blog in the hopes it "wakes up" a few people open to new interpretations of the dreams they have during their journey through life.

To see a house in your dream represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc.
...
To see a new house in your dream indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life. You are becoming more emotionally mature. ...

To see a kitchen in your dream signifies your need for warmth, spiritual nourishment and healing. It may also be symbolic of the nurturing mother or the way that you are for your loved ones. Alternatively the kitchen represents a transformation. Something new or life altering is about to occur. The dream could also be telling you that if "you can't stand the heat, then you need to get out of the kitchen". You need to abort your plans.   TOP

To dream that you are in the living room represents the image that you portray to others and the way which you go about your life. It is representative of your basic beliefs about yourself and who you are. Alternatively, the living room is indicative of your freedom and space. This is the boundary between your personal self and your public self. Objects that do not belong in the living room denotes the various aspects of your life that are invading your personal space.

To see the floor in your dream represents your support system and sense of security. You have a firm foundation that you can depend on. The floor in your dream may also symbolize the division between the subconscious and conscious. Alternatively, the dream may  be a pun on being "floored" or being completely surprised. Perhaps you have been caught off guard about something. To kiss the floor in your dream implies that you are grateful for the life you have.
To see a polished, wooden floor in your dream indicates that you are fully aware of your unconscious and keeping it suppressed.
To see a slanted floor in your dream, foretells that you are deviating too far from your original plans and goals.
To dream about the floors of a building represents your level of understanding, awareness or success. the higher floors signify higher accomplishments and achievements. If you are in the lower floors, then it refers to more primal attitudes, the unconscious and/or sexuality.  It also denotes failures. Consider the significance of the floor number and the type of building the floors are on.
To dream that the floor is made of rubber suggests that you are testing your limits. You are given certain freedoms to explore who you are. Alternatively, dreaming of a rubber floor signifies your forgiving or yielding support system. You are surrounded by people who accept you for your mistakes and flaws.  TOP

11-12-2015 - Algier Wasad Heresy!

Odd dream the early morning of 11-12-2015. It has been noted in this blog several times the 12th and the 24th of the month have been days where I have significant, predictive dreams.

No idea what this dream means. I will do an internet search on it later this week and note what I find in this blog.

I only remember these three words.

"Algier Wasad (Was Odd???) Heresy!"

I don't even remember what heresy means...had to look it up

Update 11-16-2015:
I noticed earlier, when I was searching the internet about the history of Algeria, there were many references to the word "wsad" in Polish text on the internet. This is very close to one of the three words I remember from my dream. I ignored this pattern match to my "Algier Wasad Heresy" dream because it didn't make any sense to me at the time. Based on the recent multiple terrorist attacks in Paris, the phrase "Algier wsad heresy" is a very relevant interpretation of the horrible "set" or "batch" of terrorist attacks that just occurred in Paris.

"Algier Wasad Heresy!"

I just guessed on the spelling of what I heard in my dream so maybe "Wsad" is what I really heard.

"Wsad" means "batch" in the Polish language.

You could interpret the three words "Algier Wsad  Heresy!" from my dream as follows based on the definitions for "batch" and "heresy" below...

"(People close to) Algier's arranged (things) in sets or groups to assert their "belief or opinion contrary to orthodox religious (especially Christian) doctrine."

The alleged ring leader of the recent Paris attack was from Morocco which is next to Algeria.

Very scary. May the victims of this atrocity rest in peace.

Update 11-14-2015...Apparently Algiers has had to deal with "heresy" since 300 AD!

Very strange. I wonder why I had a dream about something I have never had any knowledge about ever!

Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartennas

After 150 BC, Cartennas was dominated by the Romans. Emperor Augustus in 30 BC established there a colony of veterans of the Legio II Augusta and the city started to grow in importance.[2] Augustus even founded in what is now coastal Algeria the following Roman colonies: Igilgili, Saldae, Tubusuctu, Rusazu, Rusguniae, Aquae Calidae, Zuccabar and Gunugu. All these colonies were connected to Cartennas in a military way with strong commercial links.[3] When the French conquered the area in the 1830s they confused Cartennas with Mostaganem, 50 km to the west, but the discovery of epitaphs -a few years later- in the Berber-Arab village of Tenes helped solve the mistake.[4]
Tenes is supposed to have been a Phoenician settlement, and was a place of great importance during the Roman occupation, under the name of Cartennas. When Marshal Bugeaud fixed on this spot to establish a French colony, a fine monument, the remains of the ramparts, and other ruins, were standing, but I understand that none are now in existence, except the foundations of the ramparts beneath the present town walls, and the cisterns now utilised by the French. An interesting monumental inscription now in Algiers, records that the Roman Governor, Caius Fulcinius Optatus, successfully defended the colony against an attack by the Baquates, the Bakoutai of the Greeks, doubtless the wild Highlanders of the circumjacent Dahra. This tribe is specially mentioned by Pliny. Cartenna was rendered famous in the theological disputes which shook the African Christian Church to its centre. Rogatus, Donatist Bishop of Cartenna, established a new Sect, modifying the Donatist Heresy, and his followers were denominated Rogatists, after their founder. During the revolts of Firmus, who was subdued by Theodosius in 371, and by Gildo in 396, Rogatus took advantage of the general confusion to persecute his opponents; but his Sect did not take firm root, and during the episcopacy of Vincentius, his successor, only two African bishops were tainted with this particular heresy.
